Randall P. Nacamuli, MD, FACS completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego. He attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the honor medical society, graduating in 1998. He returned home to the Bay Area to pursue his General Surgical training at the University of California, San Francisco – East Bay. This training included an extensive period of research at Stanford University, focusing on cranial suture biology and tissue engineering. Dr. Nacamuli’s research was funded by both the American College of Surgeons, as well as the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation. After completing his research he spent six months at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco, a hand and microvascular surgery center. Dr. Nacamuli received his training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health Science University, graduating in 2007. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Nacamuli’s clinical interests include breast reconstruction, reconstruction of post-surgical facial defects, and all aspects of aesthetic surgery. He has authored over 30 peer reviewed publications, co-authored 3 book chapters on Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, has presented at numerous national meetings and is an Active Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. With a keen eye for detail, a warm bedside manner and open approach, Dr. Nacamuli provides all patients with thoughtful, compassionate care.
